Holliday is only what one could describe as eccentric. They’re the kind of friend you’d like to have but still keep yourself a little far from. They notice small things, the new haircut you got, the different perfume or cologne you’re wearing. Why are you so tired? They don’t often vocalize these things overtly, they’re very polite when it comes to interacting with others. Holding doors, thanking people they see on the street, offering snacks. A lot of this is truly because they want to be nice but it’s also their curiosity. They're incredibly curious about the people in the world around them. Sometimes they can ask questions about conditional feelings to another, the way they feel about people. They’re very patient despite the appearance and the way that they present themselves.
They present themselves in a way that is incredibly different than who they truly are or how they act. Holliday judges EVERYONE. It’s all subconscious but it’s still happening. Based on the interactions that Holliday sees people having they dock points off. You’re rude to the waiter? -3. You toss the trash out instead of going to the trashcan? -2. You say please and thank you? +5! They categorize people based off that. They have thinking that can only be considered black and white. You’re either good or bad, no in between. They’re super stubborn about what they believe in and there’s honestly next to no changing their opinion when they think something.
Holliday is quick to push a person away if someone does not fit their standard of what’s good. If someone isn’t ‘good,’ then they’re bad and there is no point in being around them. Holliday does hate seeing people suffer or in bad situations, unless of course, they are ‘bad’. Then it’s free game. Deep down they’re lonely and end up pushing people away because of their habits when they could just stop looking at things so flat or simple. If that were the case, maybe things wouldn’t be so…difficult. But it takes a lot to make someone so stubborn change their mind.
